Today we share with you the first web series of our program: Taller de Vídeo (Video Workshop), by Qinti Anima, an entertaining glimpse at the different styles and current trends of the millennial generation and urban culture. Follow up a group of young people who attend a video workshop dictated by an irreverent decadent actress and the different conflicts and points of view that meet in this intimate and creative space. With humor and amusement, the series recognizes the value of diversity and the right of young people to experience the positive that urban culture offers.

Screened on YouTube since April this year, Taller de Vídeo (Video Workshop) highlights the bonds of friendship, something visible through the way it was shot: independently and with a young and dedicated team. According to the director’s team, this impulse represents the desire of a young generation to inhabit the spaces and represent the vibrant culture of Latin America.
Supported by the National Television Council of Chile (CNTV), this is the largest regional project funded by the entity and the first episodic series filmed in Valparaíso, Chile. It features performances by Jan Jacobsen, Vanessa Miller, Constanza Blanco, Juan Cano, Nicolás Marchant, Paulina Moreno, Paulina Goldsack and Ulises Gimeno.
Qinti has made several short films screened at multiple international film festivals: Elena (2008) and Paula (2009), showing a remarkable sense of social responsibility and a narrative skill full of humor. At the beginning of 2010 he filmed the experimental Valparadaise, shot with his friends as a documentary, during 10 days. The film is a unique portrait of lazy comedy of young actors/filmmakers living in the cultural port of Valparaíso, a creation that has inspired a new generation of young emerging artists and is appreciated as "cult" by the community. The film was also awarded at SANFIC.
In 2012, Qinti went to Australia on a tour with musicians Óscar Jiménez and Manu Chao. And two years later, he published his first book "Asumir la mirada de nuestro cine" (2014) supported by the National Art Council of Chile.
Diversity, social responsibility, awareness and the science of well-being are his main motivations behind his work, as well as sharing the cultural richness that South America has to offer to the world. He currently lives in Switzerland and works on multiple projects where it stands out the new series Muerto clandestino supported by CORFO.
