A delegation of more than 50 Chilean producers, participating online and also onsite, arrives at the trans-Andean market that will take place from November 29 to December 3 in Buenos Aires and also via online platforms to connect with everyone.
Chile’s participation is supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage (MINCAP) and by ProChile through its sector brand program.
"Chile has a presence that embraces all genres and formats: animation, horror and genre cinema, developing projects with films in post-production, and TV series," says our executive director, Constanza Arena.
New projects by directors such as Niles Atallah (Celestial Twins - Proyecta), Bernardo Quesney (History and Geography - Corte Final), Felipe Eluti (Eros Thanato- Blood Window Screenings), María Coello (Flavor Quest- Animation! Pitching Sessions) and José Navarro (Diamond Street - Solo SerieS ESPOTLIGHT), are part of the official selection of this meeting, along with 11 other national projects.
In addition, production companies such as Storyboard Media, PAROX, Villano, Zumbástico, Santiago Independiente, Araucaria Cine and Infractor Films will look in the market for new partners for their upcoming projects.
MEET THE 5 PRODUCERS OF THE OFFICIAL MINCAP DELEGATION
The delegation includes 5 professionals who will attend with the support of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage (MINCAP) through its Support Program for Participation at International Markets, as part of the Arts and Audiovisual Industry Council (CAIA).
KEYNOTES, MARKET SCREENINGS AND INTERNATIONAL CO-PRODUCTIONS
Keynotes and conferences, which cover the most relevant topics of our industry, will have various national representatives participating. The themes include: content for children’s audiences (Alvaro Ceppi, Zumbastico), the screenplay as artistic creation (Luz Croxatto, screenwriter) the voice of the showrunner in serial content (Sergio Gándara, PAROX), the independent production Ignacio Ruiz, Producer, Niebla Producciones, API), and the distribution of Latin American documentaries (Paula Ossandón, Director, Chiledoc).
There will also be market screenings that include: Tres almas by José Guerrero, Green Grass by Ignacio Ruiz (Sales: Antidote Sales, Rusia) and Immersion by Nicolás Postiglione, (Sales: Latido Films, Spain) awarded at the Guadalajara Film Festival and premiered internationally in Tallinn.
The delegation will have on-site support by Elisa Leiva from CinemaChile -a sectoral brand of ProChile and the Association of Film and Television Producers (APCT).

The national projects, both the official selection and those participating in the market, highlight the co-productions between Chile and countries within the region such as: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Mexico, mirroring the close ties with neighboring countries.
