This series expose the reality of women who faced, fought, resisted, changed and got saved from armed conflicts from all around the world, specifically from Colombia, Chile, Egypt and Liberia. In each of these countries, women are victims and the most affected by the violence, but despite that, they have become leaders and examples of peace and justice. They are women joining forces together and creating revolutionary movements to defend their rights, as well as their family’s; who after the war conflicts go in to poverty, diseases, desolation and/or death. Daniela Vega, actress and leading role of the academy awarded movie “A Fantastic Woman” had to resist against discrimination, and today is an engaged activist. She empathizes and submerges into these women stories.
