Produced by Invercine and Blackpanther Films, it is currently in search of financing and streaming platforms.<\/p>\n The production company with offices in Santiago, CDMX, and Los Angeles, and winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2018 for A Fantastic Woman<\/em><\/strong> (Sebasti\u00e1n Lelio), lands at MIPCOM with its new series Santa Maria<\/em><\/strong>, about the horrific murder at the Santa Maria ranch in Cuba. What seems to be a standard police case begins to implicate the Vatican and the Cuban government, and threatens to reveal a secret that, if the world were to find out about it, would destroy both empires.
