Her works have been shown around the world on foreign channels such as PBS, Univision, Al Jazeera, and CNN. She created the documentary <\/span><b><i>Chicago boys <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2015)<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a key work for understanding the roots of neoliberalism in Chile. Currently, she is developing <\/span><b><i>Rompiendo el Ladrillo<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, co-directed with Rafael Valdeavellano. At the March\u00e9 du film, he is promoting <\/span><b><i>Animales<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Andr\u00e9s Waissbluth&#8217;s new film (<\/span><b><i>Un Caballo Llamado Elefante<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Cartagena de Indias, 2016), a dystopian anthology that reveals the contradictions that our species is living through in times of radical changes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-10520 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/david.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"87\" height=\"84\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antes.cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/david.jpg 500w, https:\/\/antes.cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/david-300x287.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 87px) 100vw, 87px\" \/>Igal Albala (Calibre 71),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in addition to being a producer, has been part of COPA90 and the FIFA Digital Team during the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil. He recently premiered a short film on social issues, <\/span><b><i>Nando <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Alec Cutter, Shorts: Go big) at Tribeca. Recently, he has been developing <\/span><b><i>Isla Friendship<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, his own production. She has worked on multiple projects with Ignacio Ruiz (<\/span><b><i>Pe\u00f3n, Arder, Green Grass<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and is currently developing <\/span><b><i>A la Deriva<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Adrift), a feature film that explores the life of a retired boxer who tries to regain custody of her daughter after killing her husband in self-defense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-10517 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/barbara.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"119\" height=\"67\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antes.cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/barbara.jpg 500w, https:\/\/antes.cinemachile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/barbara-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 119px) 100vw, 119px\" \/>Barbara Pest\u00e1n (Pocilga producciones), <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is a director, screenwriter, and producer who has debuted with major projects such as <\/span><b><i>Joselito <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2014) and\u00a0 <\/span><b><i>Al otro lado del r\u00edo <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(2011). Her works point to a more independent cinema, with short films such as <\/span><b><i>Visceral<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2019). She is currently producing and distributing the feature film <\/span><b><i>Al amparo del cielo<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Diego Acosta, a story of a rural herder with more than a thousand sheep, which arrives in Cannes evoking feelings of loneliness and the passage of time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Pepe Rovano <\/b><b>(Totoral Media)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> brings to the market a documentary that he himself directed, a project that tells a story of disobedience, about a son of a genocidal war criminal who tries to repair his past.
