“Violeta existe” narrates the journey undertaken by Javiera and Ángel, musicians and grandchildren of Violeta Parra by reinterpreting the album “Las últimas composiciones”, recorded shortly before her death and which would become a fundamental and emblematic piece of Latin-American popular culture. For this purpose, Ángel and Javiera summon different musicians and singers to intimately narrate what it means to reinterpret the great Violeta Parra and her work.
